Notice about supervision of children & parking at the Church!
For Suzuki Parents who go to the UUC: Please remember that students of all ages should be with a parent at all times, and that the portico is not an area for hanging out. Elevator use should be restricted to people with strollers, or with a physical challenge that requires its use. And, parents should always ride the elevator with their child. This is for the safety of your children, as well as to make sure that we're being respectful of the other programming happening in a sacred space.
Please be mindful that you are parking legally in marked spaces at the church. One of our parents had a wreck last week, because there was not enough room to back out of a legal parking space.
Also Note that there will be NO GROUPS OR ORCHESTRA REHEARSALS at the Church the week of March 23-27. Classes and lessons at Hartt will be held as normal that week. Contact your teacher if you have any questions!

Houghton is a learning community that emphasizes preparation of students to become future leaders. The Houghton experience is centered on strong academic programs, and a faith community/fellowship that helps develop conviction, compassion and character. One of the cornerstones of that experience for many students in participation in the Houghton College Choir, the Greatbatch School of Music’s premier touring ensemble.
The Houghton College Choir will present a concert in your area next week on its 2009 tour. This performance will take place at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 140 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT on Saturday, March 14 at 8:00 pm. There is no charge for admission, but a free-will offering will be taken.
This year’s College Choir tour program includes a wide variety of sacred choral music, from 20th- and 21st-century art music to masterpieces from the Renaissance and Baroque to contemporary arrangements of hymns, folk songs, and spirituals.
