Youth Dance Programs

Dance can be a fun and exciting activity for younger students. It combines athleticism with art in an interesting and meaningful way. Students learn coordination and confidence while spending time with others their own age.

We offer a wide variety of classes for ages 9 - 14 including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pilates, and more. Classes are given on a semester basis and current listings can be found below. Tuition information for our classes is available here.

The Community Division Dance Department holds classes at the Hartt Dance and Opera Center, 224 Farmington Avenue in Hartford and at Simsmore Square in Simsbury.

Interested students or parents can contact the Dance Department by email or by calling 860-525-9396 Ext: 10 for more information or to register for classes. Registration materials are also available online.
