Community Division Faculty

Our faculty is among the best in the region, distinguished by education, experience, and skill. Many of our teachers perform with local orchestras including the Hartford Symphony, the Waterbury Symphony, the New Haven Symphony, the Connecticut Opera Orchestra, the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, the Springfield Symphony, the Boston Symphony, the Delaware Symphony, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, and many others across the country and throughout the world. Our faculty also do freelance performances throughout the area, faculty recitals at The Hartt School, and solo performances with local ensembles.

Our faculty teach here on the Hartt Campus and also at our various locations including the Dance and Opera Center in Hartford, the Yakemore Family Performing Arts Center in Simsbury at Simsmore Square, and in the South Windsor Public Schools, Middletown Public Schools, and the Kingswood-Oxford School.
