First Steps in Music Teacher
Bio:
- B.A. in music and B.S. in education from UCONN
- M.M. ed with an emphasis in Kodaly pedagogy from The Hartt School
- General/vocal music teacher in the Newtown Public Schools
- Private instructor in oboe
- Past President of the Kodaly Educators of Southern New England (KESNE)
- Diana brings many different things to the classroom including many years of teaching various levels and ages of students as well as a passion to instill music in the lives of children. Diana enjoys family time (both musical and non-musical) with her husband and son. Diana accompanies herself on folk guitar, dulcimer and various percussion instruments.
