Bio:
- Education: Bachelor of Music degree from The Hartt School at the University of
Hartford; studied with Jay Lichtmann and Roger
Murtha, (Principal, and former Associate Principal Trumpets of the
Hartford Symphony Orchestra, respectively). Additional studies
privately with Miroslav Kejmar (former Principal Trumpet, Czech
Philharmonic Orchestra) in Prague, Czech Republic
- Performance Experience:
- Teaching Experience: music
faculty at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut; additional teaching experience throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut in jazz, rock, pop and classical.
- Freelance trumpet player performing
throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut mainly as a classical
musician, but also in the jazz,
rock, and pop idioms.
- Hartt Community Division faculty since 2007.
