Bio:

• Education: Scuola di Danza Brenda Hamlyn in Florence, Italy, School of the Hartford Ballet, and at Trinity College where she obtained a B.A. degree in 1980
• Received a Dance Teaching Certificate from the School of the Hartford Ballet in 1983 and joined its faculty the same year
• Taught in the Pre-Ballet, Adult, Pre-Professional Divisions and the Dance Program for City Youth working closely with such mentors as Enid Lynn, Wang Shao Pen, Truman Finney, Michael Uthoff, Franco De Vita, Raymond Lukens and Kirk Peterson
• Also taught ballet to musical theater and opera majors at the Hartt School 
• Former children's rehearsal director for Mr. Uthoff's  "Nutcracker"
• Continued teaching with the School of Dance CT, where she was the Director of the Jr. Performance Ensemble
• Mentored many teaching majors enrolled in the Dance Division at The Hartt School, preparing them for teaching careers in Dance
