  • Education: Royal Ballet School; Teaching Diploma, London College of Dance and Drama; Certificate in Education, Institute of Education, London University, M.A. in Education, Sussex University

  • Career in the United Kingdom as a dance teacher: teaching, choreographing, and advising in a wide variety of educational contexts, including K - 12 dance programs, teacher preparation, and in-service, and adult and community education

  • Project Officer for the National Curriculum Council's Arts in Schools Project (member of the central team) developing arts curricula throughout the UK

  • Director of the Education Program for the UK's Birmingham Royal Ballet (formerly Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet)

  • Teaching experience in USA: Hartford University, School of Arts & Sciences, Theater Department; Central CT State University, Music and PE Departments; School ofthe Hartford Ballet/Dance CT/ Hartt School Community Division; Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts; visiting teacher at Trinity College, Department of Dance and Theater

  • Coordinator of the Connecticut Arts Curriculum Frameworks Project for development of CT's Guide to Program Development in the Arts K - 12
