Bio:
- Education: G.P.D in Chamber Music Performance, The Hartt School; M.M. in Performance, The Hartt School; B.A. with honors, Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada
- Studied and performed South American folk music with Bolivian charango virtuoso Ernesto Cavour and Chilean guitarist / composer Horacio Salinas
- Has performed and lectured throughout Canada, The United States, Chile, and Bolivia as soloist and chamber musician
- Formed the Alturas Duo with Carlos Boltes and was named "Duo in Residence" at The Hartt School (2002-04) and the Lyrica Chamber music festival (2003)
- Recorded for Naxos and Brioso Records with the Alturas Duo
- Master classes with John Williams, the Miami String Quartet, and the L.A. Guitar Quartet
- Has been awarded grants from the Canada Council for the Arts
- Founder and artistic director of the “Simsbury Chamber Music Festival” and the “Music Mountain International Guitar Masterclass”
- First Prize Winner at the 2006 New England International Chamber Music Competition with the Alturas Duo
- Has commissioned and premiered over a dozen works from composers around the world
- Hartt Community Division faculty member since 1999
