Bio:
  • Associate Director, Hartt Community Division (2001 - present)
  • Education: M.M. in Music Education, The Hartt School; B.M. (summa cum laude), The Hartt School
  • Public and Private School Music Teacher in Connecticut and Illinois for grades K - 8
  • Experience teaching elementary instrumental music including: wind, string and percussion instruments; middle school band, orchestra, and jazz band; and general music classes for Kindergarten through second grades
  • Presented sessions on assessment in music at both the Northeast Regional Chapter Meeting and the National Conference of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts
  • Wrote and organized assessment tools and systems for public and private schools
  • Designed and implemented instrumental music motivational program to encourage good practice habbits and achievement
  • Member of the Music Educators National Conference and Connecticut Music Educators Association
  • Clarinet Adjudicator - Connecticut Music Educators Association Regional Music Festival
