Education: BM and MA, University of Wisconsin; DMA, Eastman School at the University of Rochester
- Additional Training at Colorado College, Pasadena City College and The Chautauqua Institute
- Professor Emeritus at the University of Hartford, where he was a Woodwind Specialist, a Conductor, and Chair of the Music Education Department
- Since retiring, has continued to be an active conductor and performer
- Woodwind recitals and guest-artist performances with string quartets such as the Beaux Arts of NYC, The Pro Arts of Belgium, and The Allard of Philedelphia
- Recorded the CD, "Recital Music for The Clarinet"
- Hartt Community Division faculty member since 2007
