The Connecticut Children's Chorus (CCC) is the Hartford region's most comprehensive youth chorus program. The CCC is split into five different levels offering opportunities for students in grades one through twelve. Each choir performs a wide variety of high-quality literature and receives regular training in vocal development and musicianship.
In addition to weekly rehearsals and school-sponsored concerts, members of the CCC benefit from a number of exciting performance opportunities each year. Regularly, CCC Concert Choir performs with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra for their Holiday Pops Concert, as well as participating in various other area concerts. Past activities have included performances with the Hartt Opera, CONCORA, the Hartford Symphony and the Nashville Children's Chorus. Guest Directors have included: David Brunner, Michael Lankester, Doreen Rao, Jean Ashworth Bartle, Henry Leck and Edward Cumming.
Overture Choir

The Overture Choir is designed for boys and girls in grades 1 - 3. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays 5:00 - 7:30 at the Hartt School. Concerts and other events are posted on the Overture Choir Calendar.
Prelude Choir

This choir is designed for children in grades 3 - 5. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays 5:30 - 7:30 at the the Magnet School. Concerts and other events are posted on the Prelude Choir Calendar.
Canticum Choir

Cambiata Choir

This choir is designed for boys with changing or changed voices. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays 5:45 - 7:45 pm at the Magnet School. Concerts and other events are posted on the Cambiata Choir Calendar.
Concert Choir

This choir is open to students with treble voices in grades 6 - 12. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays 5:30 - 7:30 at the Magnet School. Concerts and other events are posted on the Concert Choir Calendar.
Auditions are held in September, January and late spring. Students should sing a prepared piece, "My Country `Tis of Thee," and will be asked to sing a round or sight-sing.
