TuitionThe tuition costs for the 2006-2007 school can be found on the following tables. All students are charged a $15 registration fee (one per student per semester) in addition to those tuition rates. Registration fee waivers are available for some programs and are outlined below. New students who join a program midway through a semester may be eligible for prorated tuition. Late registration fees apply to returning private lesson students and intensive dance students as described below. Payment options:

The following rates for private music instrustion are based on a 17-week semester. The Middletown and South Windsor satellites follow a 16-week semester. However, the reduced rates apply only to residents of the respective town. Non-residents pay the traditional lesson rate. All students must pay a $15 registration fee in addition to the tuition outlined below. Returning private lesson students who submit a signed registration form with a $50 deposit prior to August 1st for the fall and January 1st for the spring semesters are exempt from paying the $15 registration fee. All returning students who register after the start of the semester must pay a $30 late registration fee in addition to their tuition and $15 registration fee. All new private lesson students must pay the $15 registration fee for their first semester of study.
*Please note that weekly group classes are included in the Suzuki String and Guitar Rates. Instrumental and Vocal Ensembles The following ensembles are designed for pre-college students, except for the Joza Karas Adult String Ensemble. Tuition rates are given per year. Chamber music tuition includes 12 coachings per semester (Fall and Spring). Free or reduced tuition is available to all students who take private lessons through the Community Division, as noted below.

*A $15 registration fee is due in addition to tuition. Dance Department: General Program Dance Classes are available for children ages 3 and up. Classes are run during a 36-week school year. Tuition is $522.00 for the year plus a $15.00 registration. The registration fee will be waived for all registrations received before August 20, 2007. Three payment plans are available:
Special 10-week programs may be offered, with a tuition cost of $135.00 plus the registration fee. Note: Fees are pro-rated after the start of the school year. Teen and Adult Programs
All Teen & Adult classes require a minimum of 8 students to run. Please purchase your dance card or pass at least 24 hours ahead of the class you plan on attending. Those interchanging between classes should call ahead to ensure the class is running. Dance Department: Intensive Program The more serious dancer may choose to begin a comprehensive dance curriculum with instruction two days a week and increasing up to six days per week depending upon the student's area of focus (either ballet or modern theatre dance). For this program, three payment plans are available: to pay the full year, to pay each semester, or to pay eight installments throughout the year.
There is a registration fee of $15.00 dollars, which is waived for those who register by Aug. 20. A late late registration fee of $30.00 will apply after Sept. 4 (this does not apply to new students). Students in the Intensive Program may also choose to take an additional class in the level above where they are studying now, by invitation only (speak to Susan Brooker). The additional tuition for the year is as follows: CII - $522.00 Students in the Intensive Program may also choose other classes within the General Program of choice (as appropriate). Fees for such classes will apply as listed in the General Program tuition information above. |
